What kind of detergent do I use?

You may use any brand of laundry detergent.

Are there any high efficiency washers available?

Each laundry room contains high quality machines similar to what you would find in a commercial laundromat. While there are no high efficiency washers at this time, each room contains one high capacity washer for bulkier items.

Can I do laundry any time?

Yes. Laundry rooms are open 24/7!

How long does the washer take to complete a cycle?

One cycle takes approximately 27-30 minutes to complete.

What if I am not back when my clothes are done washing?

While it is not required that you are back when the machine is done, we strongly advise that you retrieve your clothes as soon as possible to avoid someone else removing your clothes. FSU is not responsible for any unwanted treatment of personal belongings in the laundry rooms. Visit LaundryView to check the status of your machine.

I live off campus. Can I do my laundry at school instead of going to a Laundromat?

No. You must be a campus resident in order to utilize the on-campus laundry facilities.

How can I report an issue with a laundry machine?

How can I obtain a refund when I use FSUCash?
