My document did not print correctly, how do I request a refund?

Fill out the Service/Refund Request Form immediately after printing to request a refund for a print quality issue.
You will need specific information of the occurrence, including: Date, Time, Printer ID, Printer Type, Document Type, etc.
Please Note: Refunds may take up to 10 days to process and all refunds are subject to approval.

Can I copy and print if I am a visitor at FSU?

Visitor cards are available to anyone who wishes to utilize FSU's copy and print stations.

To add funds using credit/debit cards, download the Blackboard Transact Mobile eAccounts app or visit fsucard.fsu.edu/eaccounts.

What is the job cost per page?

10 cents per page B&W, 25 cents per page color; however, you will be charged for the type of printer you print from, not the print job type. If you send a B&W document to a color printer, you will be charged the $0.25 that goes along with printing in color. To avoid unnecessary additional charges, please select your printer carefully!

My job will not print, ‘insufficient funds’ is displayed.

Add value to your card online by using the FSUCard tab within your myFSU Student Central. To add funds using credit/debit cards, download the Blackboard Transact Mobile eAccounts app or visit fsucard.fsu.edu/eaccounts.

My job will not print, ‘no printer matches all attributes’ is displayed.

You may be trying to print a color, duplex, or legal sized job to a printer that does not support these job types.

My job is not found when I log into the release station.

Jobs are tagged when printed at the workstation with your FSUID. Try to resubmit the job and be careful when entering your FSUID. If the problem persists, please contact us at (850) 644.7777 or obs@fsu.edu.

If I send a print job how soon will it print?

Any print job submitted to the FSU myPrint system will not be printed until it is released. The list of print jobs will be displayed when you log on to one of the release stations. Next you swipe your FSUCard for payment and select the job(s) you would like to print. Once the print job(s) is selected and paid for, the job will begin printing immediately.

How long do I have to print my job?

Jobs are retained in the queue for a period of two hours and then purged.

I released my job at the release station, but it never printed.

Some large jobs, typically PDFs larger than 100 MB, may take some time to spool or hang completely. This is a known bug at this time.

Can I print from my Residence Hall room?
